Founder Couch Surfing Struggles

A story about Ryan Breslow's early financial struggles while building his company Bolt.
"I was couch surfing - I didn't have enough money to even rent a place to stay. At Bolt, I started off at a 40k salary and for about 5 years it never got higher than 60k. I was living paycheck to paycheck because I wanted every dollar to maximize Bolt's outcome.
Up until a month ago, I hadn't sold a single share almost 8 years into the journey. Just recently I've sold a very tiny amount of shares just to kind of pay for some expenses."
