"About 10 days ago, Elon bought 9% of Twitter and announced he was joining the board of directors. The weekend after, he started posting things like 'Let's turn Twitter's HQ into a homeless shelter.' I actually lived next door to Twitter's headquarters at 9th and Market a couple years ago. It's basically empty because the pandemic shut down that area of the city, and it's full of homeless people.
Elon took two jabs with this tweet - he said 'Let's shut down Twitter HQ and turn it into a homeless shelter because nobody's going to work anyways.' He was basically criticizing how Twitter's employees weren't coming to the office while also pointing out the homeless situation around the building."
