Tinder's Sorority Strategy
Share
A story about how Tinder achieved early growth through campus-focused marketing led by Whitney Wolfe (who later founded Bumble).
"Tinder had this strategy with Whitney Wolfe who started Bumble. She was going from college campus to college campus, going into the sorority houses and the frat houses, just brute force onboarding all the guys and girls in one campus so that Tinder was useful. Then they'd throw parties and do stuff like that.
You need these people - they're like game-changing people for your company. They're the ones who can go in and just brute force build something from the ground up."
