Ligma Twitter Prank

John Coogan tells a story about two developers who pulled off a viral prank during Twitter layoffs.

"These guys Rahul and Daniel Johnson fooled CNBC into reporting that they were Twitter employees that were fired. They're actually just normal startup founders building some dev tool, they're not comedians.

The funny thing is, after this prank, they only hang out with successful billionaires. I've seen them in person - everybody who was big in tech loved that troll, Elon loved it. They could probably get silent donations from billionaires. They could have a Patreon of billionaires only that fund them to do statement art against the media, against local politicians.

But instead they're still just building their startup - they're actually good programmers. It seems like they're pretty legit at what they're doing."
