Sam Parr shares details about the acquisition of Easybrain, a mobile game developer specializing in number games.
"Easybrain was acquired this past February for $640 million in stock, plus up to $125 million in additional consideration if they hit certain targets. Their 2020 revenues were $210 million with $70 million in profit.
They've had 750 million installs across their lifetime. They have 15 live games with 12 million daily active users. The company is based in Cyprus, though the founders are actually from Belarus.
They started with Sudoku, then made remixes of Sudoku and other number games. They cross-promote their games within each other. The Sudoku app alone has 50 million downloads just on Google Play, not counting iPhone. Their website gets 10-20 million visitors per month, giving them free traffic to their mobile apps where they monetize."
