Moiz's 2008 Housing Spree

A story about how Moiz and his family bought multiple homes during the 2008-2009 financial crisis by walking door to door in neighborhoods.

"During the 2008-2009 crash when there was the subprime mortgage crisis and people couldn't afford their homes, homes were getting foreclosed on. What they did was they drove into a neighborhood and just walked door to door. If a house was for sale, they'd buy it, then go to the next one asking 'Are you moving out? Would you sell?'

They bought them all - it was almost like a multifamily complex. They bought about 25 homes that were in the same neighborhood. It was their dad and the two brothers, and they just walked around and bought a bunch of homes in one summer. It was like the best family bonding you could think of."
