Identity Circle Walk
Share
A unique morning routine that combines walking in circles with identity-focused affirmations to reinforce personal growth goals and desired character traits.
Core Concept
- Walk in small circles while speaking affirmations about who you are becoming
- Focus on present-tense statements ("I am" vs "I will be")
- Treat personal growth like software updates - fixing bugs and adding features
- Based on philosophy that life is about who you become, not what you achieve
The Process
- Write down 4 core identity pillars you want to embody
- Walk in circles in a small space (8x8 foot office)
- Each circle represents focus on one identity pillar
- Speak affirmations out loud in present tense
- Do this before starting daily tasks/emails
Example Identity Pillars
-
Being a teacher
- "I am a teacher millions love"
- "I learn daily so I can teach"
- "People are inspired by what I create"
-
Being a great father
- "I am patient, even when things are difficult"
- "I am poised"
- "I am always there for my kids"
