Orange Peel Attention Trap

Sam Parr shares a story about a college friend to illustrate how attention-grabbing but ultimately harmful actions can be.

"I knew a guy in college who ate an entire orange and an entire lemon one time in one sitting, including the peel. It's hilarious that he did that and I have a story to tell forever, but that was going to suck for him for a while."

Sam uses this story as a metaphor to describe Elon Musk's Twitter acquisition, suggesting that while it's attention-grabbing and memorable, it will make Elon's life "significantly worse, significantly harder, so much more pressure" and is "not a smart move for his personal life."
