Sam's Startup Investment Success

A brief overview of Sam Altman's early career success path in Silicon Valley.

"Sam is from St. Louis. He moved to Silicon Valley to join Y Combinator at age 19 or 20. He started a company that had mild success - I think it raised a fair amount of money and sold for $50 million, of which he walked away with $5 million at age 21.

Using that $5 million, he parlayed it into $100 million by investing in things like Airbnb, Dropbox, and similar companies because he worked at Y Combinator. Eventually he became president of Y Combinator at age 27."
