Facebook Employee Scale Question

Sam Parr shares a story about his father-in-law's reaction to learning about Facebook's employee count.

"I remember years ago, 10+ years ago, my wife worked at Facebook and she was telling her father about working at Facebook. I think my wife worked there starting when there was 6 or 9,000 people. My father-in-law was like 'Why do you need 9,000 people to run a website? Why do you need 9,000 people for a web page? What do all those people do?'"

Sam uses this story to draw a parallel to understanding why MrBeast needs hundreds of employees, explaining that it's because he's essentially running a movie studio for social media rather than just making videos.
