Cyclist Peaks at 105
Share
A story about an elderly cyclist who continued breaking records well past 100 years old.
"Robert Marchand, who unfortunately passed away at 109, was still cycling at 101 and broke some records. He decided that wasn't enough, so he worked with trainers to break his existing record at 103. He hit 27 kilometers an hour on a bike and continued competing until he was 105.
If you look him up on YouTube, there's videos of him getting past the finish line with reporters coming in trying to film him because he shouldn't be doing the things he was doing at 101, 103, or 105. He's an example of someone who at 80, 90, even over 100, completely reshaped their fitness."
