Shilajit TikTok Shop Success

A story about how Sabri discovered a company selling an ancient Indian supplement called Shilajit Resin, generating massive sales through TikTok Shop.

"I kept seeing these crazy ads for something called Shilajit Resin. I was like 'what is Shilajit Resin?' It was this black tar, and the ad was saying 'this is what would happen to you if you ate Shilajit every day for 14 days.'

Shilajit is a black tar they get from the Himalayas in India. It has all these essential minerals, and they sell it in these tiny little jars that look like lip balm jars with a golden spoon. For anyone that runs ads, that's immediately killer - it's a pattern interrupt with black tar, looks really weird on the feed.

I started seeing these things everywhere. They were all AI voices making the most outrageous claims - doubles your testosterone, increases your pencil size, all these wild things. People getting jacked with this black tar all over them.

I went down this rabbit hole and found this company called BetterAlt Himalayan Shilajit Resin. I plugged them into Kalo Data and saw they were selling 91,000 units over a 90-day period - about 1,000 units a day. These guys had done just shy of $9 million in Shilajit Resin in 90 days through TikTok Shop. That was just the tip of the iceberg because when I went to their funnel, there were thousands of reviews, and on their website, they claim they've sold 9.5 million servings. It was like $200 million worth of Shilajit if you calculated that based on their lowest average order value."
