Figure Robot Identifies Fruit
Share
Sam Parr recounts a demonstration of Figure's humanoid robot that was featured on 60 Minutes.
"You were on 60 Minutes the other day and you had a plate with an apple and a banana sitting in front of the robot. You said 'hand me the apple' or 'hand me the orange' and it did a good job where it reached and found the right fruit. I think it made a mistake once or twice but then it corrected itself and you're like 'hey that's the wrong one' and it was like 'oh I'm sorry' and picked up the right one. What's crazy to me is that you're 2 years old - the company's 2 years old - and I've seen that you've been able to do this so quickly."
Note: This is actually Sam Parr describing what he saw rather than Brett telling the story directly, but this was the most relevant story about the 60 Minutes demo from the transcript.
