National Quitters Day Pizza Spike
Share
A story about how January 12th is known as "National Quitters Day" when people abandon their New Year's resolutions, leading to a spike in pizza sales.
"January 12th is National Quitters Day - it's the second Friday after the New Year. By that time, more than half of people have completely abandoned their resolutions. I saw the founder of Slice Pizza, they're a nationwide pizza delivery company, and he said something like 'sales will be down for the next two weeks, but then our biggest day of the year is coming.'
The Super Bowl of pizza delivery is on National Quitters Day, when people give up on their diets by the second week of January and then move on."
