YouTube Success At Eight

Jenny Hoyos shares how she developed her YouTube career from a young age and worked on improving her content creation skills.

"I started my YouTube channel when I was 8 years old. I used to struggle with being on camera as an introvert, so I built that muscle by doing this thing for a month - I would set up my camera for an hour and do a stand-up comedy show to myself. I would improvise, even though I've never done stand-up comedy.

After that, I would record my entire day, and it wouldn't even go online. In the mornings, I'd watch this YouTube channel called Charisma and Command. Throughout the day, I would repeat the things I learned in my head. At night, I would do the stand-up comedy show. Throughout the day, I would try to record as well just to get my reps in.

I tried to build up my charisma and personality just by recording videos that no one was going to see. Now I'm literally living the dream - I started at age 8, and by 18, I'm getting millions of views on my content."
