Museum Hack Tops NYC

Sam Parr shares a story about how Nick Gray built and sold a successful unauthorized museum tour business.
"Nick Gray had a business called Museum Hack and he eventually sold it. It was doing many millions in revenue. At first it was just guerrilla - he would go to the Met in New York, which is a free museum, and people would pay $50 for him to give them a tour and explain the art.
Eventually he hired lots of theater kids to lead these tours and set them up in various museums throughout the country. At first the museums kicked him out multiple times, but eventually he established partnerships with them. Time Out made him the #1 recommended thing to do in New York, and that's what blew him up.
Then of course he went B2B because that's where the money is - instead of selling to consumers for $50, you sell to companies like Morning Brew and their HR team just signs off and approves it."
