Neuralink Patient Controls Computer
Share
A story about Neuralink's first patient successfully using a brain-computer interface.
"They put a chip in a guy's head and he's playing video games on a Twitch stream now. He's a quadriplegic, so he can't move his arms or legs. Now with his brain, he's playing chess and can use a computer just by thinking. He's like 'wow my life just got so much better, this is amazing.'
They successfully implanted the chip in his brain and he can now use computers. It is incredible - I cannot believe more people are not talking about this. I'm blown away by the videos I've seen. To me this is a question of when not if - meaning the next platform shift is probably glasses, but the one after that is just put the computer in the brain. That will happen, it's just maybe 10 years, maybe 100 years."
