A story about how a 13-year-old scout identified ApplyBoard as an investment opportunity, which later became a billion-dollar company.
"There was a guy named Sarush who was a 13-year-old kid living in Canada. He used to use our product Blab. He came to me wanting to learn about investing, so I told him to scout out 3 companies a week and email me the best one - including why it would be a good investment, why it would be a bad investment, and his overall recommendation.
Several years later - he's 20 years old now, so 7 years later - the very first company he sent me was a company called ApplyBoard that just raised money at a $1.1 billion valuation. He brought that email back up to me and emailed me again about it."
