Parker's Opportunity Zones
Share
Sam Parr shares a story about Sean Parker's innovative contribution to real estate investment policy.
"Sean Parker either created or was important with helping create opportunity zones in real estate. I remember reading about opportunity zones and thinking 'Wait, Sean Parker created it?'
The story is he was young, still in his twenties, and he convinced the government that it's wise to invest into opportunity zones, which is real estate that's in areas that are impoverished or we want them to be better. I thought how ballsy of that kid to go and convince the IRS or the government that this is the right move. It was a wild story."
