Food & Consumption
- Control what you put in your mouth
- Make conscious choices about diet

Information
- Limit news consumption
- No news apps on phone
- Allow some news to naturally filter through but don't actively seek it
- Focus on books over current events for entertainment
- Control social media intake
Relationships
- Control who you let into your world
- Be selective about relationships
- Manage the people you spend time with
Problems
- Control which problems you make your own
- Don't take on every issue
- Be selective about what you consider "your problem"
Implementation Strategy
- Start with physical distance (e.g., keeping phone in drawer)
- Allow controlled access to restricted items (can use computer instead of phone)
- Create friction between you and unwanted inputs
- Focus on governing yourself before trying to govern others
