MrBeast's Billion-Dollar Focus

A story about how MrBeast (Jimmy) has evolved over the past year, becoming more focused and successful in his business ventures.

"Jimmy has basically doubled his channel in the last year. He's lost 30 pounds after watching himself play basketball and thinking he looked slow and out of shape. He got on an extreme bodybuilder workout program, has his meals planned, and built a gym right outside his studio.

Last year when we talked to him, he had like 10 different things he was doing - mobile gaming, various projects. Now he only has 3 goals: grow the channel, get big, and sell chocolate. His chocolate business, Feastables, has taken off. It's going to do hundreds of millions in chocolate sales this year. He's eating market share like crazy and getting into major retail stores like Walmart.

What's fascinating is he has at least 1,000 times more opportunities than us, but he says yes to less stuff than we do. We're doing 4 things, he's doing 2. If this guy can say no to literally 10,000 better opportunities than what we're saying no to, that's something to learn from.

He's also extremely focused on data. When we asked him how he describes himself, he said 'I'm a data junkie.' He studies the algorithm and platform more than anyone, figures out what content works, and experiments constantly. For example, when they release a video, they'll test hundreds of thumbnails programmatically to find the winning one.

I predict he's going to sell that chocolate brand for $6 billion. That's what's going to happen if we fast forward the news 3 years from now - MrBeast sells majority stake in chocolate business at a $6 billion valuation."
