A story about how Unroll.me finally launched their iOS app after 6 years and achieved unexpected success in the App Store.
"It's crazy that it took us like 6 years to launch an iOS app, but we did it the way we always did it - the unconventional way. We came in to win it and ended up being bigger than Gmail and Snapchat for 1 week at the top of the App Store. We were 8th overall in the App Store.
So we went from not knowing what HTML was to 8th overall in the App Store. We had a joint project cross country with the Slice team and the Unroll.me team coming together and building a product, and it was really awesome.
Unroll.me is still going strong - we have over 3,700,000 active users, we've been mentioned in the press over 5,800 times, and we process over 125,000,000 emails per day."
