Suns Ballot Networking Success

A story about how Ben's dedication as a Phoenix Suns ball boy and superfan led to a connection with the team's new owner.
"Ben used to be a diehard Phoenix Suns fan - he loves the Phoenix Suns more than you love your child, with a deeper passion than Romeo loved Juliet. He was a ball boy for 4-5 years, literally with the team every day as a volunteer ball boy.
Every year when there's an All-Star game, the fans vote on who gets to be named an all-star. Ben, being the loyal supportive guy that he is, takes literally 100,000 ballots home, forces his family every night to sit there and punch the ballots to vote the Phoenix Suns guys in. Over the course of a couple months, they churned through 100,000 ballots to try to support the team. The players didn't care, they didn't know about this - he just did it because he's that big of a die-hard fan.
Years later, Ben emailed the new Suns owner Matt Ishbia when he bought the team just to say 'hey congrats buddy.' Then we invited Matt to Camp FM. He couldn't make the dates but said 'if you guys are ever in town let me know, we'll hang out, check out a game.' So we worked with his assistant to coordinate a visit, and got to go down to Phoenix to meet Matt, meet the team, and sit courtside - basically live life as an NBA owner."
