Post Malone Meets Musk

A story about how Cody Ko first met Post Malone, which led to an unexpected late-night gathering at Elon Musk's house.

"Post Malone DMs me and Noel on Twitter saying he loved our videos. He was flying back from Australia and wanted to get drinks. I was at my wife's family dinner when he messaged saying to meet at the Rainbow Room in an hour, so I had to leave.

We met up, got drunk drinking lemon drops, and were having a great time riffing because he has the same sense of humor as us. Then he looks at his phone and says 'Elon's been texting me.' We thought it was a joke until he showed us his phone. He asked if we wanted to go over to Elon's house.

We drove there and when we arrived, Elon and Grimes were standing on the driveway with lanterns. There were only about 10 people total - Post's crew, us, Elon, Grimes, and a couple producers. The weird thing was the house had no furniture. Someone explained it was his 'party house' and his family house was across the street.

We all sat around a fire pit until about 4 AM, with Post and Elon talking while Elon nursed a whiskey. When trying to leave, we couldn't figure out which door led out - I didn't want to accidentally open one and find a spaceship. When I went back upstairs to ask, Elon and Grimes were making out, so we just found our own way out.

Afterwards, me and Noel sat on the curb looking up at the sky thinking 'no one's going to believe this.'"
