"George Clooney was thinking about when he retires or dies, he wanted to give some of his wealth to his friends because these friends were some of the best people in his life. They helped him when he was trying to make it - he used to sleep on their couches and they really helped him in different ways.

He decided not to wait until he died to give them the money. He invited them all to dinner and brought 14 Tumi suitcases, each filled with $1 million in cash. He gave each of them a suitcase and said 'I've been through some hard times and I want you to not have to worry about your kids, your mortgage, your school, whatever it is - here you go, enjoy.'
