McDonald's Worker Builds Culture Empire

A story about how Cultural Tutor went from working at McDonald's to building a massive Twitter following through dedicated daily content creation.
"This guy was basically working at McDonald's, literally flipping burgers and doing french fries. They had a mutual friend, Harry Drive, and David [Perell] basically sponsored him - became like his patron. He asked if he wanted to write and offered to pay him to write.
So he quits his job at McDonald's and decides to write one amazing Twitter thread a day. His schedule was interesting - he'd wake up at 4 PM, start thinking about his thread, smoke cigarettes, go for walks, write, go for another walk, smoke more cigarettes, eat some food somewhere in the middle, publish, and then pass out. Then do it again the next day.
He said this great line: 'That sounds silly, I understand that my whole day is just about posting on Twitter, but everybody's just got a thing - that's my thing.'
The results have been incredible - he's built 1.3 million Twitter followers and a 100,000 person email list in about a year."
