30-Second Mention Drives Revenue
Share
A story about how a brief mention of Steph Smith's product on My First Million podcast led to significant revenue.
"The last time I was on, we talked about the product I launched a year ago, Internet Pipes, for like 30 seconds at the end of an hour-plus long podcast. From that brief mention, I'm pretty sure - it's hard to tie directly - but for sure six figures in revenue, which is crazy.
Internet Pipes started as a community where we run events that are kind of weird and quirky - weird fruit tastings, electric shuffleboard, documentary screenings. It's a one-time payment to join the community, which gives access to events and monthly emails. Last month's email was on the island, this month's is on longevity."
